What makes BuildMeADesktop.com different from every other computer manufacturer?
BuildMeADesktop.com understands that technology changes every day so we constantly upgrade our desktop configurations and use top-of-the-line computer parts. We build quality computers that are designed to last a long time and when parts need to be upgraded, they can be, either by sending them back to us, or by upgrading them yourself.
How do I know what computer to get? I don't understand the difference between any of these computers.
First go to the contact us page and tell us exactly what you want to use your computer for. We understand that our predefined computers do not match the needs for everyone, so we will build a custom using your information and price range.
What if I want something completely different from the computers you offer?
Send us a message (through the contact us page) and tell us. We are more than happy to build a custom computer for you.
These computers cost as much as a major computer manufacturer like Dell or HP, but don't come with a monitor or keyboard/mouse, why should I buy I a computer from you?
Actually we are cheaper than large manufacturers. The computers we build cannot even be compared with some of the computer kits that these manufacturers offer, our computers are upgradeable. As to us not including monitors and keyboard/mice, we do not include these because we believe that there are so many choices out there, it would be unfair to only offer a few. Some people might want a 21" flat screen while others may want two 17" flat screens. It would also be a waste to require you to purchase a mouse/keyboard when you may want or have something different.We are happy to suggest monitors and keyboard/mice but do not sell them directly.
I know exactly what parts I want to use in my computer, can you build it for me?
Just send us a message with the parts you would like us to use. Once we have made sure these parts will work together we will send you a quote and we can move on from there.
